Church of Noise

Song of the day is "Church of Noise (Acustic Version)"

IT'S OLD!
Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo!
The man with the mask that comes from Bassano

Today I'll tell you about a great personality from Bassano del Grappa.
A small town becomes the Rifo Bob has always been very active in the field of art, went close soon.
Ever since 2007, has been releasing music under the name "Bloody Beetroots", quickly becoming - through word of mouth spontaneous international network of blogs - one of the most popular producers of electro-punk-dance scene.
His strength, in addition to the firepower of music, is the conceptual approach and rigorous Rifo has the "make" art. From the choice of going out in public only ever masked (in the early DJ sets with his partner Tommy Tea defilatosi then).
The smoothie danzabilità and noise has rapidly come the sounds of Bob the ears of the likes of Steve Aoki (which has been put under contract to his label Dim Mak) and Tommy Lee of Motley Crue matterista former, which has often accompanied live.
Both are among the first followers of the "Church of Noise" philosophical movement founded by Rifo diffonre for the crossover between the arts, first of all his favorite (after music): photography.
Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo decided to delight us with an alternative in acoustic version of that bomb in Church of Noise. Given the generally very similar, I asked about the DJ and producer Barbar! and today gives us the opportunity to benefit from it all.

Performed by Dennis Lyxzén, Maria Magdalena, Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo e Thomas Roussel.

Never Mind the Bombings, Here's Your Six Figures

Never Mind the Bombings, Here's Your Six Figures is the second release from American screamo band United Nations. The four-song EP was released on June 23, 2010 through Deathwish Inc. on both 7" vinyl and digital download versions.
The EP was expected to face copyright issues for sharing a similar name and cover art to Sex Pistols' 1977 studio album Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols.

The artwork for the EP was created by the Australian artist Ben Frost, and designed by Converge vocalist Jacob Bannon.
Continuing with United Nations' ambiguity of contributors, the liner notes for Never Mind the Bombings, Here's Your Six Figures provide neither writing nor production credits.

I want it!

Chipmunk

Alvin Supertar? nah!

Chipmunk Punk is a New Wave music album by The Chipmunks, as well as being the first album released by Ross Bagdasarian Jr., after he took over due to his father's death.

Despite the title of the CD, none of the songs listed were considered to be in the age of real punk rock music. It was released on June 15, 1980 (see 1980 in music). The album peaked at #34 on the Billboard 200. It was certified Gold by the RIAA on October 14, 1980, becoming the Chipmunks' first gold record. In 2005, it was re-released on CD, although the CD was only available through the official Chipmunks website.

Favorite Album Art?

Hello again!  What is your favorite album art? Any special reason?

My favorite is Black Flag’s Damaged (SST, 1981). A 19-year-old Henry Rollins punching a pane of glass, shot by the world’s premiere Rock photographer Edward Colver. There’s nothing more visceral and Hardcore than this.
Black Flag was the definitive band of the early 80s — they were the suburban American response to Punk. For a few years, they were the greatest band on the planet. Their ferocious music, tireless work ethic and independent attitude changed the course of music history. They certainly changed me.
