One of the most important of my LP collection.
when I saw this album in a shop near my house, could not resist and bought it!Sex Pistols, icons of punk, was the first punk band I listened.
God Save the Queen is the second single record of the punk band Sex Pistols. It was published May 27, 1977, during the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II of England.Although many people think that the song was created specifically for theJubilee, the band has always denied this. Paul Cook said: "It was not writtenspecifically for the Jubilee of Queen. We were not informed of this at the time, was studied theoretically work to come out and shock everyone. "Johnny Rotten, then explained the meaning of the text by saying: "Do not you write a song like 'God Save the Queen because you hate the English. You write a song like this because they love and is tired of seeing them mistreated."
