He's not a household name in all parts of the country, but trust us when we say that Doc Watson was a national treasure. He died today, and we are sad, but honored that the limited edition Vanguard reissue of his classic album Doc Watson was part of Record Store Day 2010, which means we got to play a tiny little part in the legacy of an amazing man.

Lioness: Hidden Treasures
This is the posthumous album by Amy Winehouse, entitled Lioness: Hidden Treasures. The album is strongly desired by the producers of Amy and her family, collects 12 unreleased tracks from old records never recorded and covers of existing songs.
Published December 2nd, 2011 by Island. The album contains previously unreleased tracks and demos collected by Mark Ronson, Salaam Remi and family of the singer, including the first single, Body and Soul, with Tony Bennett.
Just the artist's father died prematurely in August 2011, said the release of this recording work of her daughter: "If this album was not up to the other two, we would not have allowed the publication, but instead is the best tribute to Amy's artistic greatness. "
Curiosity: The fifth track on the album, Like Smoke, initially was not called in this way. In fact, the original tracklist of the album (which today is seen primarily in the album itself) the song was called "Never Wanted You (To Be My Man)".
